President William J. Ossenfort,
A retired Air Force Senior Master Sergeant, with a strong interest in military aircraft. Recently elected to this position in 2007, he has a strong managerial background and will be excellent as our president. He lives in Caribou, Maine.
Vice President Matt Cole,
An Eagle Scout, and a all around good guy who helped to get this whole thing started. His carpentry skills have played an important role in making our building what it is today. Cole knows what has to be done and does it. Elected in September 2005. He lives in Washburn, Maine.
Secretary Maureen Cuppy Johhdro,
Served in the Air Force for six years as a SSGT, she is the wife a retired MSGT who is from the local area. She was elected in November 2007 and will take and distribute the Center’s meeting minutes as the months come and go. We look forward to working with her. She is a very dynamic and energetic person. She lives in Caribou, Maine.
Treasure Terry Johndro
Terry comes to us as a very dynamic person with attention to detail. He is a 20 year Air Force Veteran and is married to Cuppy Johndro. Terry worked in the hospital at Loring for 7 years having been an overall good tech and great addition to Loring. He spent time after Loring at Maxwell in Alabama, then Aviano AB Italy and retired from Fairchild AFB, Washington. He has 2 children a son Chris and daughter Ashley. Terry is an Xray tech who works at Cary Medical Center and volunteers for the Knights of Columbus in Limestone. Welcome aboard Terry!

Clarence McLaughlin Sr.
Clarence McLaughlin served in the Marines, Army and Army Guard. A lifelong resident of Limestone., he retired after 32 years
of Civil Service at the former Loring Air Force Base. McLaughlin was assigned to 42nd Transportation Squadron. He is a life member of Loring Military Heritage Center. He lives in Limestone, Maine.
Norman Johndro,
Norman Johndro, served with the Air Force during the Korean War and later on became a Federal Civil Servant for 30 years at the former Loring Air Force Base. He lives in Limestone, Maine.

James R. Moore,
Retired Air Force Chief Master Sergeant, has a formidable interest in jet engines and also monitors the Center’s books to insure that we have sufficient funds to meet our financial obligations. He lives in Caribou, Maine.
Cathie Mary Welch
Cathie Mary Welch held the secretary’s position from September 2005 – October 2007. Welch was the 42nd Bomb Wing’s Base Commander’s Secretary and started at the former Loring Air Force Base in December 1964 and worked there until it closed in September 1994. She worked for seventeen different Base Commander’s during that time period. She is still active with the Loring Military Heritage Center. She lives in Caribou, Maine.
Wayne Selfridge,
Retired Air Force Senior Master Sergeant and Member at Large, came on board in September 2005 to help our Center get off the ground. With his plate already full as the Executive Director of the Loring Wildlife Refuge, a detective for the Presque Isle, Maine Police Department and a U.S. Marshall for Homeland Security, he still found time to attend meetings, offer suggestions and to provide management expertise in critical areas. He helped us navigate through the many Federal and State application forms The Center needed to qualify as a non-profit organization. He is still active with Loring Military Heritage.
Robert Ellenwood,
Executive Board member and retired Air Force Master Sergeant. Only served for short time but still gave us his best. Still active with the Center.
Dean Brakel
Prior President. A Retired Veteran with many years of experience and helped to form the Center into what it is today. Works at DFAS and is married to Joy and has children.
