New Garage: The slab is done and the walls are up! The truss in. Help is need to put up plywood. If you can help, please come to the heritage center or contact us at a time you can help.

The building will need to be manned for the summer. If you have a day you already know you would like please let Cuppy know. We are open weekends so chose what you would like.
GeoCache We also now have a GeoCache. This is located around the center and
the exact location is a mystery. Good luck to the ones looking for it.
Worlds Largest Fire Truck: We are working on possibly obtaining the P-15 Crash Fire Truck that was used on Loring to protect military assets. This would make a great display to add to our museum.

Hound Dog Missile Arrives
On June 13 2009, the Loring Military Heritage Center (LMHC), located on the former Loring Air Force Base, undertook one of the biggest projects it had done since it opened its doors; LMHC volunteers transported a Hound Dog Missile to a temporary site in the Arch Hangar of Loring for refurbishment. Help is needed to refurbishment it. Please contact Raymond Hildebrand if you would like to be part of the restoration crew.
